AGA (Atlantic Gastroenterology Associates) has been an integral part of community since 1978 and is the recognized leader in southern NJ for excellence in digestive health services.
AGA is a seven gastroenterologist/six nurse practitioner group practice.
Mission is to provide state of the art digestive health services for our community.

AGA Clinical Research Associates has been operating in various capacities since 1987.

Facility Description
AGA owns and operates a surgicenter/endoscopy center, and two office sites, one of which is accessible to public transportation.
AGA is the only clinical practice in the tri-state area to use the M2A Diagnostic Imaging Capsule. In addition, AGA performs all gastroenterologic procedures and testings presently available for patients, including on-site Pytesting, Hydrogen Breath Testing, EGG (electrogastrograph) and BRAVO catheter-free Ph monitoring.

Investigator Experience
Seven physicians are involved as principle investigators in various studies, all physicians are board certified and are expert in the entire field of gastroenterology and hepatology. Below are the interest areas of each physician:

Staff Expertise
In addition, there includes six board certified nurse practitioners. Theresa Stevens, APN-C, CCRP is manager of clinical research. She has had experience in hematology-oncology trials in the past and has had extensive experience in the area of rheumatologic disorders.

Patient Demographics
The patient population of our practice has the typical demographics of the Northeast US population.
AGA draws from 55,000 active patients that reside primarily in Atlantic, Ocean, Camden and Cape May Counties, but also serves the tri-state area of NJ, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
