Center Overview

The Clinical Research Consortium of Alberta is a group of like minded researchers who have been conducting trials independently in some cases for close to a decade in Alberta. Over the past four years this group has begun working together to share information and patient populations to better meet the goals of the group. Ethics submissions for the group are coordinated so that only one site is submitting and communicating with the ethics board to improve approval times. The experienced and trained study coordinators work with each group as the workload varies. This group encompasses 6 clinics across the province with a large population on a computerized data base with two more soon to be computerized.

OUR MISSION

We are dedicated to conducting clinical research in a cooperative mutually satisfying environment for our members.

OUR VISION

We envision a world where safe and effective drug therapies are readily available for those in need and ultimately a society where people can enjoy a long and healthy life.

OUR VALUES

  • Integrity. We believe in the importance of establishing mutually beneficial relationships based on the foundations of trust and commitment. People rely on us because we put the patient's interests first.
  • Accuracy. We are committed to providing meticulous data collection and take the time to ensure the job is done right the first time.
  • Open Communication. We pride ourselves on being effective and articulate communicators. We are responsive to the information requirements of our stakeholders and ensure communications are delivered in a concise and timely manner.
