Our outpatient location conveniently off of Reidville Road in Spartanburg and has the following on-site capabilities:

  • Patient lounge area with large screen TV, games, internet acces and a quite reading area

Investigator Experience

Andras Koser, MD, FHM, MBA, CPI, FAPCR,
Owner/Medical Director
Dr. Koser has been active in internal medicine since 1982. He began medical research in 2006 and has opened two of his own sites. One currently in Gaffney, SC and the other in Spartanburg, SC with investigator participation primarily at the Spartanburg affiliation. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a certified Principal Investigator.

Dr. Koser currently is President of the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research and has been the clinical instructor at VCOM-Carolinas in Spartanburg since 2013. He served as Clinical Instructor, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner programs at Vanderbilt, Clemson, and Wofford Colleges.

Pranay R. Patel, MD
Investigator
Dr. Patel is the owner/director of Westside Internal Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Illinois-College of Medicine.

Stephanie Weir, ANP
Sub-Investigator
Stephanie graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She currently practices at Westside Internal Medicine.

Tameka Hall, FNP
Sub-investigator
Tameka graduated from Walden University in Minnesota and is board certified through the AANP Credentialing Center. She currently practices at Westside Internal Medicine.

Staff Expertise

Fusion Clinical Research staff are ACRP and SOCRA certified. Both have current IATA training and have completed GCP training through CITI and Transcelerate. They are recognized for their previous experience and community volunteer work with many local organizations.

Dale Cook, CCRC
Lead Study Coordinator

Dale has worked with Fusion Clinical Research since January 2017. Her previous experience includes the histology lab at Spartanburg Regional and study coordinator for more than 19 years at Spartanburg Medical Research on ~ 200 trials from 1998-2017.

Tessa has been with Fusion Clinical Research since February 2017. She currently works part-time with local community outreach programs and currently works with Events Partner Inc Her previous experience includes Pediatrics for 6 years and Spartanburg Medical Research from 2005-2017
