Center Overview

Applemed Research Group, LLC (AMR) has been conducting research since the 1990’s striving with professionalism, dedication, and teamwork to achieve the best quality of research performance under good clinical practice. We have a large patient database and a good referral base, meeting our recruitment goals is never a problem. We have a well diverse patient population that involves patient of ages 18 to 80 years of age, Caucasian, Hispanics and African American. AMR has successfully undergone several FDA audits. Our objective is to always provide a positive research experience to each patient while providing accurate and consistent data to our sponsors.

1,600 sq.ft. Dedicated Research Facility, Phase II-IV research facility located 1 mile from two major hospitals (Westchester hospital and Nicklaus Children's Hospital). We are also located near the Miami International Airport.

Staff Expertise

Lidya Acosta-Valdes, P.A. has been working with AMR as a Sub-Investigator since 2006. Lydia has over 14 years or experience in clinical research.

Carlos M. Manzano, R.T.(R)(ARRT), CCRC is the Clinical Trail Director and Primary Coordinator for AMR has over 14 years of experience in clinical trails. His responsibilities include directing and conducting all aspects of all clinical trials. Carlos works in close contact with all principal investigators, to ensure that all patients are receiving the best quality of care. His research interest include working with adults in Phases I though IV trails.

Lilibeth Paz, BS, CCRC has been with AMR since 2008 as a full time coordinator and regulatory affairs coordinator. She is a graduate form Nova Southeastern University where she completed her bachelor degree in Psychology. Her research interest include working with adults in Phases I though IV trails.

Hanoi Infante, CPHT, CCRC has been working with AMR since 2010 as a part time coordinator and pharmacy Technician. Her research interest includes Adults in Phases II though IV trails.

Lian Paz, CRC has been working with AMR since 2011 as data entry and coordinator. His research interest includes Adults in Phases II though IV trails.

AppleMed Research staff is fully fluent in Spanish and English and each member of our staff has receive training in:

Patient Demographics

Our location in Miami exposes us to a wide variety of patient demographics. We are centrally located and in close proximity to public transportation allowing for easy access for our subjects. We also receive referrals from clinics within our private practice along with local physicians. And we use advertising tools to draw an additional study patient database.
