Clinical Research Experience

Urology Clinics of North Texas has expertise to perform studies in urology care. The sites staff has over 25 years of experience conducting clinical trials for prostate and bladder functions.

Facility Description

Urology Clinics of North Texas has ten urology clinic locations serving the Dallas area within a 120 mile radius. Urology Clinics of North Texas has thirty urologists on staff and also has three pediatric urologists and one pediatric physician assistant in two office locations. Each office shares the same EMR, therefore sharing the same database which gives the site great potential for finding research candidates. All clinical trials are conducted at the central office in Dallas, Texas.

Investigator Experience

James Cochran, MD, CPI, has over 25 years experience in clinical trials. Dr. Cochran was one of the first physicians to be involved with clinical trials for the newly approved prostate cancer treatment, HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound).

Staff Expertise

Our clinic has two study coordinators with medical assistant certification, an RN who is certified CCRP and a Regulatory Coordinator. Each has certification in GCP/ICH, HSP, IATA and BLS. Their experience includes eDC, eDiary, and IVRS/IRT systems.
