Optimal Research ( www.optimalsites.net) provides clinical site solutions to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, medical device companies, and contract research organizations (CROs) seeking research sites to accrue patients into clinical research studies. The Company utilizes its seven (7) wholly owned clinical research centers, as well as its oncology and pediatric site network to provide integrated site solutions that meet Optimal's client's needs.

Clinical Research Experience

Optimal Research-Austin is a multi-therapeutic site, with experience conducting Phase I-IV inpatient and outpatient trials encompassing a diverse variety of indications.

Known for pain studies such as wisdom tooth extraction and bunionectomy studies, the site has performed in excess of 200 CNS/Pain trials. The site also conducts studies in other therapeutic areas such as migraine, headaches, vaccination, and general medicine.

Optimal has performed services for most of the leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies, including all of the top ten pharmaceutical companies. The Company's customer list also includes novel biotech and medical device companies, as well as many of the leading, global CROs.

Optimal Research has built its reputation on reliable performance manifested through its quality in study data and delivery, research expertise, and patient focus.

Facility Description

The Austin site is a 30,000 square foot facility with surgical suites and capacity to house up to 40 patients for overnight Phase I studies.

Investigator Experience

Stephen Daniels, DO, is the Lead Principal Investigator and Medical Director of the site. Dr. Daniels is a noted CNS/Pain Key Opinion Leader and provides over 20 years of clinical research experience and clinical trial leadership.

Staff Expertise

The Optimal Research team is comprised of Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Investigators, administrative, regulatory, recruitment and laboratory personnel. Site Managers, Network Managers, Directors and an Executive staff ensure excellence among our sites.

Patient Demographics

Optimal Research works with its investigators to identify candidates through approaching patients within the research database and physician practices, as well as local media advertising and community outreach.
