New England Research Associates, LLC, is a dedicated clinical research site specializing in conducting Phase II, III, and IV trials in Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Dermatology, Pain, and other medical subspecialties. The Medical Director has over 15 years experience in clinical research and has acted as principal investigator in over 100 clinical trial for a wide variety of sponsors and CRO's.

Clinical Research Experience

New England Research Associates, LLC, has experience in conducting trials in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, gout, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, sjogren’s syndrome and others.

We have worked with many sponsors and CRO's including Abbvie, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Janssen, Lilly, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Regeneron, Roche, Sanofi, UCB and others.

Facility Description

New England Research Associates, LLC, is an outpatient facility located in the one of the largest cities in Connecticut. It is easily accessible to highways and public transportation.

Investigator Experience

The principal investigator has over 15 years of experience in conducting Phase II, III, and IV trials. He is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. A variety of board certified subinvestigators are available, depending on the nature of the trial.

Staff Expertise

All study coordinators are trained and/or certified in GCP/ICH compliance, CRC role and responsibilities, Human Subject Protection, HAZMAT (shipping and handling of dangerous goods) and CPR. Staff capabilities include: ECG, Blood Pressure, IV Infusion, PK Sampling, Phlebotomy, Patient Education, Pain Assessments and Evaluations (WOMAC, NRS, OOWS), Joint Assessments.

Patient Demographics

Patient recruitment is facilitated through our proprietary patient database, investigator(s)’ private practice, non-investigator physician referrals, and newspaper. NERA has also begun to utilize recruitment through Facebook and Google Adwords. The site is located in a drawing area of 400,000 people located close to major highways and public transportation. The area is served by two major teaching hospitals.
