A Study of Risk Stratification in Patients With Suspected Lung Cancer.

Official Scientific Title: Evaluation of tumor markers for the risk stratification of patients with suspicion of lung cancer.

Brief summary: This study will evaluate tumor marker utility as a diagnostic tool for the stratification of patients with a risk of developing lung cancer. Patients presenting with clinical signs suggestive of lung cancer will be tested at 3, 6 and 12 months, to establish tumor marker sensitivity, and the best combination of markers for the diagnosis of lung cancer.

Inclusion criteria:

  • adult patients, >=18 years of age;
  • presenting with signs suggestive of lung cancer (thoracic pain, hemoptysis, tumor mass).

Exclusion criteria:

  • previously diagnosed lung cancer or other malignancies;
  • jaundice.

Gender: Males or Females

Age limits: Min: 18 Years Max: 99 Years

Accepts healthy volunteers: No
