Summary: Do you know someone who is experiencing the signs and/or symptoms of severe diarrhea???

Discovery Clinical Research is evaluating the safety and tolerability of an investigational medication in the treatment of CDAD.

To be eligible the patient must be:

• Be = 16 years
• Currently have diarrhea (>3 unformed stools in the last 24 hours)
• Not be on a C. difficile-active antibiotic (vancomycin or metronidazole) for more than 24 hours
• Able to read, understand English and follow simple instructions

Qualified study participants will receive study-related medical evaluations and investigational medication at no cost.
