Multinational trial of treatment for Hospital Acquired Pneumonia with an emphasis on patients with infections due to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

Several Study Inclusion Criteria Include:

• Pneumonia acquired after 48 hours of continuous stay in an inpatient facility

Several Study Exclusion Criteria Include:

• Known or suspected pulmonary disease that would preclude evaluation of therapeutic response
• Known or suspected Legionella Pneumophila
