Summary: A phase II, study to assess the safety and effect on ventricular rate of multiple oral doses of study drug in adult subjects with atrial fibrillation
To evaluate the safety and effect on ventricular rate of four
escalating oral doses of study drug administered once a day in
adult subjects with atrial fibrillation and a rapid ventricular
response.
Several Study Inclusion Criteria Include:
- Be able to perform an exercise stress test on a treadmill
- Have adequate anticoagulation therapy according to the
physician
- Be 18 years of age or older
Several Study Exclusion Criteria Include:
- Atrial flutter
- Within 30 days, had an MI, acute coronary syndrome, cardiac
surgery or a CVA(stroke)
- Untreated alcoholism or drug addiction
