Trial Information

Summary: A research study for an investigational medication for insomnia.

The purpose of this study is to examine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for insomnia. This study is comprised of 6 visits over approximately 7 weeks. 2 of these visits will consist of 2 overnight stays in our sleep clinic.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

  • Must be 18-64 years of age
  • Must be experiencing difficulty falling asleep
  • Must sleep less than 6 hours each night

Patient Exclusion Criteria

  • Must not have been diagnosed with a significant psychiatric disorder
  • Women must not be currently pregnant or plan to become pregnant within the next year
