Trial Information
Summary: Blood sample
People who have had one of the bone marrow failure syndromes
listed below are asked to participate in a research study being
conducted by North Shore University Hospital.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have Aplastic Anemia (pancytopenia with a hypocellular marrow
and no evidence of leukemia), Myelodysplastic Syndromes (Refractory
Anemia, Refractory Anemia with Ringed Sideroblasts, Refractory
Cytopenia with Multilineage Dysplasia, Refractory Cytopenia with
Multilineage Dysplasia and Ringed Sideroblasts, Refractory Anemia
with Excess Blasts (Type 1 and 2), Myelodysplastic Syndrome,
Unclassified, and 5q-Syndrome) or other bone marrow failure
syndromes
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have participated in this study previously
