Summary: Relapsing - Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS)

People with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by NYU Medical Center’s Hospital for Joint Diseases.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 55 inclusive
  • Have had 1 documented relapse in the past year or 2 documented relapses in the past 2years.

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have a different form of multiple sclerosis (other than RRMS)
  • Have HIV or Hepatitis A,B, or C
  • Have received a bone marrow transplant
  • Have had a heart attack within the past 6 months
  • Are unable to undergo an MRI
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 6 months
