Summary: Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorders, Minneapolis, MN

Schizophrenia Treatment

The University of Minnesota Schizophrenia Program is conducting several treatment studies for adults with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder. Help others by participating in research to improve treatments for psychotic disorders.

Trials are available for persons in various stages of schizophrenia: partial response to current treatment, taking two antipsychotics at once, prominent negative symptoms, challenging side effects, stable and mildly ill

Some studies involve investigational drugs, but most use standard FDA-approved medication in a research setting to answer basic questions about how these medications can be used better. Doctor visits, tests, medications, and travel costs at no charge to participants. All studies totally voluntary.
