Summary: Human Papillomavirus-Two new lab tests - Adults

Females scheduled for a routine gynecological examination and screening for cervical cancer are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are a female at least 18 years of age
• Scheduled for a routine gynecological examination and screening for cervical cancer

You may not participate in this study if you:

• You have had radiation therapy to the area around your cervix in the past year
• You have had chemotherapy within the past year
• You have had a hysterectomy or lack a cervix for any reason
• You are younger than eighteen years old at the time of your visit
• You are pregnant at the time of any visit required by this study.
• You are currently participating in another experimental study or you have participated in an experimental drug / device study within 30 days prior to signing this consent form.
