Summary: Consequences of Prolonged Febrile Seizures in Children
National Institute of Health (NIH) is conducting a research
study in affiliation with the Neurology Department at Children’s
Hospital of the King's Daughters, related to the long-term
consequences of one or more childhood fever seizures.
If your child has had a seizure related to a fever, you may be
eligible to participate in this exciting study.
To be eligible to participate, you must:
- Be 1 month to 5 years old
- Have seizures lasting 30 minutes or longer (best estimate)
- Have no history of Neurological Impairment
All study related clinic visits, testing are provided at no
cost.
Compensation is provided.
