Trial Information

Summary: A Phase I Safety and Pharmacokinetic Study of IT-101 in the Treatment of Advanced Solid Tumors

You have been asked to participate in this study because you have advanced cancer for which there is no standard treatment or which is no longer responding to standard treatment.  The purpose of this research study is to determine the highest dose of IT-101 that can be given without causing unmanageable side effects, to find out what side effects IT-101 causes, and to determine the amount of IT-101 that stays in the body over time.  Researchers will also look at genes in tumor specimens to see whether differences in genes are associated with response and lack of response to treatment, to see whether the genes change over time, and to evaluate the effect of IT-101 on tumor cells.  Your treatment on this study is expected to last at least 4 weeks, but may potentially extend to several months.  After your treatment is over, your medical condition will continue to be followed indefinitely.
