Summary: A Phase I Study of a Combination of High Selenium Brassica Juncea With Irinotecan and Capecitabine
You are being asked to take part in this study because you have advanced cancer that is no longer responding to standard treatment. The purpose of this research study is to find the highest dose of the drug capecitabine than can be given with irinotecan and high dose selenium without causing severe side effects and to learn about the side effects of the treatment. Other purposes are to see how much capecitabine stays in the blood over time when given in this combination treatment and to do laboratory studies. Your participation in this study is expected to last at least seven weeks but may continue if your cancer is not growing and you are not experiencing any unmanageable side effects
