Summary: Saint Louis University is looking for study volunteers!
Saint Louis University invites you to participate in a study
evaluating an investigational medication in people with
intermittent claudication.
What is Intermittent Claudication? Pain in one or both legs on
walking, primarily affecting the calves that does not go away with
continued walking, and is relieved by rest.
Volunteers meeting the following criteria are
needed:
- Age 40- 80, Male or Female
- Have a history of intermittent claudication of the legs for 6
months with no change in symptoms in the previous 3
months.
The following will be provided at no cost to
volunteers:
- Physician evaluations (physical exams, vascular exams)
- Diagnostic testing (treadmill evaluations, blood tests)
- Study medication
- Compensation for time and travel is provided
