Summary: Research Opportunities for Opiate Users
Researchers with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine
are conducting a research study to test a new medication to treat
opiate withdrawal.
You may be eligible if you are:
- physically dependent on opioids (for example, Oxycodone, Lortab
or Vicodin);
- 18 years and older; and
- willing to undergo detoxification in the hospital for up to 8
days.
Participation in the study is free and will include
medical screenings, meals, and snacks.
