Trial Information
Summary: Mild Cognitive Impairment After Coronary Bypass Surgery
People scheduled to undergo Coronary Bypass Surgery are asked to
participate in a research study being conducted by New York
University School of Medicine.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are male or female between 65 and 79 years of age
- Are surgically sterile or post menopausal (women only)
- Are fluent in written and spoken English
You may not participate in this study if you:
- Suffer from an active psychiatric disorder such as depression
or anxiety disorder
- Have a history of stroke or chronic atrial fibrillation
- Have had a heart attack within the past 8 weeks
- Have had more than 3 heart attacks in your lifetime
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or are capable of becoming
pregnant (women only)
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
