Trial Information

Summary: Small abdominal aneurysm trial

Small abdominal aneurysm trial

Adult volunteers with certain types of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) are invited to participate in a clinical trial to help find out the best treatment options. This national trial compares a wait and watch approach to endovascular stent grafting for patients with small AAAs. Follow-up involves at least annual visits to the clinic for check-ups and CT scans for up to 5 years. (IRB-HSR # 11838)
