Trial Information
Summary: HIV in Children and Adolescents 6-17 years old
Children and adolescents with HIV-1 are asked to participate in
a research study being conducted by Jacobi Medical Center.
Your child may be eligible to participate in this study if
he/she:
- Is male or female between 6 and 17 years of age
- Have a documented HIV-1 infection
Your child may not participate in this study if he/she:
- Has an active AIDS related illness
- Has a life expectancy of less than 6 months
- Is pregnant, breastfeeding, or intends to become pregnant
during the study
- Has participated in another research study within the last 30
days
