Summary: Observation During Standard Cardioversion Surgery to Correct an Irregular Heartbeat / Atrial Fibrillation – Adults

People with atrial fibrillation are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Staten Island University Hospital.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are Male or female at least 18 years of age
• Are going to have a procedure performed to correct an irregular heartbeat
