Summary: Would you like to try a new investigational birth control pill?
An investigational birth control pill has been developed and is
being evaluated for use by women throughout the world as part of a
medical research study.
The study not only aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of
the study pill, but will also determine if there are possible
additional health benefits related to the study pill, such as
influence on mood and sexuality and how they affect symptoms
related to the menstrual period.
You may qualify if you are:
- A sexually active woman
- Needing birth control and willing to use an investigational
birth control pill for 12 months
- At least 18 but not older than 50 years
- In good physical and mental health
All women taking part in the study will receive study-related
medical examinations, blood tests, and supply of the study pill
free of charge. You will be compensated for time and travel.
