Summary: Asthma and Breathlessness in School Age Children

UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA HEALTH SYSTEM IS LOOKING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN A HALF DAY RESEARCH STUDY ON EXERCISE THIS SUMMER.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO COMPLETE THE HALF DAY STUDY WILL RECEIVE $100

YOU WOULD HAVE TO:
1. COME TO THE HOSPITAL RESEARCH CENTER FOR 3 HOURS IN ONE DAY
2. PERFORM A 10-15 MINUTE EXERCISE TEST
3. ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS ON YOUR LEVEL OF EXERCISE
4. BE SEEN BY A DOCTOR
5. GIVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF BLOOD AND URINE
6. PERFORM SOME BREATHING TESTS
