Trial Information

Summary: People with Pink Eye are asked to participate in a research study being conducted at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. This study involves 3 visits over a period of approximately 8 days. Participants will receive compensation for participating in this study.

You or your child may be eligible to participate if you or your child:

  • Is at least one year of age
  • Has a clinical diagnosis of acute bacterial conjunctivitis
  • Be willing to discontinue contact lens wear for the duration of the study
  • Be willing to avoid disallowed medications during the study period

You or your child will not be allowed to participate if you or your child:

  • Is pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have had ocular surgery (including laser surgery) in either eye in the past 6 weeks
