Trial Information

Summary: Do you have Erectile Dysfunction?

Did you know impotence or erectile dysfunction (ED) can be associated with high cholesterol? The risk of ED is nearly two times greater in men with high cholesterol. If there is too much cholesterol in your body, plaque sticks to the walls of the arteries. When plaque builds up, it creates a smaller opening for blood to pass through. This leads to less blood flow to the penis, which can create erectile problems.

If you have high cholesterol and ED you may qualify to participate in a clinical study of the investigational use of an approved medication, Levitra ® for ED.

You may qualify for this study if you are:

  • age 18 to 64
  • taking a cholesterol lowering medication
  • having difficulty getting and keeping an erection that lasts long enough to finish having sex
  • in a stable heterosexual relationship for the past 6 months

Qualified participants may receive at no cost:

  • all study-related medications
  • physical examinations
  • laboratory tests
