Trial Information

Summary: An investigational research study for people aged 18-64 years of age experiencing primary insomnia.

The purpose of this research study is to examine the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for insomnia. This study is comprised of 13 visits over approximately 9 weeks. Eight of these visits will be overnight in our sleep clinic.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18-64 years of age.
  • Women must be non-pregnant, non-nursing, and using an acceptable form of birth control.
  • You must be willing to complete overnight visits as according to the study schedule.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • You must not have been diagnosed with any other sleeping disorder (i.e. Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome, and Narcolepsy).
  • You must not have a hepatic, blood, heart, kidney, or lung condition.
  • You must not have been tested positive for HIV or Hepatitis B or C.
  • Must not have been diagnosed with a significant psychiatric disorder.
