Summary: Phase III: Randomized, Double blind, Multicenter Study of Talabostat + Pemetrexed vs Pemetrexed + Placebo in Patients with Advanced (Stg IIB/IV) NSCLC after Failure of Platinum Based Chemotherapy

2nd or 3rd line therapy for recurrent, locally advanced, metastatic, inoperable. IIIB must have cytologically documented pleural effusion. Failed or relapsed after receiving platinum containing therapy as 1st line for advanced. ECOG 0-1. No more than 2 prior chemo regimens, prior progression on pemetrexed, untreated brain metastasis. 28 day washout from prior treatment.
