Summary: Alzheimer’s Disease in Adults 50 and over

People with dementia resulting from Alzheimer’s Disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Litwin Zucker Research Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are Male or female at least 50 years of age
  • Be on a stable dose of acetyl cholinesterase medication (Aricept®, Reminyl® (Razadyne®) or Exelon®)
  • Must be able to undergo MRI scans
  • Have a reliable caretaker who will accompany you to all study visits

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have had Parkinson’s Disease, seizure disorder, or a head injury with loss of consciousness within the past 5 years
  • Have schizophrenia or post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
