Summary: Do you and a family member have DEPRESSION?
Genetics of Recurrent Early-Onset Depression II (GenRED II)
Please consider taking part in a nationwide research study:
Genetics of Recurrent Early-Onset Depression sponsored by the
National Institute of Mental Health.
You may be able to participate if:
- your depression started by age 30,
- you had more than one period of depression, and
- at least one family member (brother, sister, or parent) also
has had repeated periods of depression.
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
- Under age 21 and over age 70.
- First degree relative with Bipolar I Disorder
