Summary: American Migraine Prevention Study - AMPS.

Do migraines give you a headache? For 32 million Americans they do. The American Migraine Prevention Study - AMPS is being conducted by Dynamic Health Resources. AMPS is a nutritional study for migraine prevention. It is designed to evaluate a nutritional supplement along with proper diet, and trigger management that may prevent migraines or reduce the frequency, duration and intensity of migraine headache pain.

During the three month study period, participants will be asked to take a daily nutritional supplement and follow a recommended diet to avoid potential migraine triggers. Participants will be asked to maintain a headache log and submit headache questionnaires at the beginning and end of the study. You do not have to travel and therefore can participate from you current location.

Candidates may qualify if:

• You have one migraine headache per month
• You are between the ages of 18 through 72
• You have had migraines for more than 1 year
• Your migraines started prior to age 50
• You must be able to tell between different headache types
• You live in the United States or Canada

You can not participate in AMPS if:

• You are pregnant or breast feeding.
• Your headache medications are being added or altered within the last 30 days.
• You are using 3 or more narcotics per day.
• You have been in a clinical trial within the past month.
• You had an unstable medical condition requiring hospitalization in the past month.
• You abuse alcohol.
• You have systemic and liver disease, diverticulitis, colitis .
• You have headaches due to another medical condition.
