Summary: Myeloma Specimen Repository Protocol, Ancillary.

Patients will receive treatment as directed by the treatment protocols on which they are registered.

To maintain and expand tissue repositories of myeloma specimens from uniformly treated Southwest Oncology Group patients to promote Intergroup and external fundamental scientific collaborations and to perform continued critical prospective and retrospective correlative biologic studies.

To utilize scientific information generated from Intergroup and collaborative studies to assist the Myeloma Committee in the development of new and more effective treatment regimens.
