Summary: A Clinical Study Involving the Use of an Experimental Drug In Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Hodgkin’s Disease

Mount Sinai School of Medicine is conducting a study to determine the response rate of patients with relapsed or refractory Hodgkin’s Disease to the study drug taken with already approved chemotherapy drugs. The study will also determine, the safety and quality of life while on the study drug, as well as compare use of the study drug to already approved chemotherapy treatment.

You may participate in this study if you:

  • Have been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease and you have failed treatment or relapsed from a previous treatment
  • Are equal to, or greater than 18 years of age
  • Have not had previous chemotherapy treatment or radiation within the last 4 weeks
  • Have a measurable disease
  • Have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have had previous treatment with the study drug or similar drugs
  • Have a history of organ transplant
  • Have any other cancer
  • Have any significant active or chronic infection
  • Are pregnant or nursing
  • Have HIV associated Hodgkin’s Disease
