Summary: Implantation of Guidant INSIGNIA® Ultra pacemaker

People scheduled to have a Guidant INSIGNIAŽ Ultra pacemaker implanted are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by NYU School of Medicine.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are Male or female at least 18 years of age
  • Are scheduled to have a Guidant INSIGNIAŽ Ultra pacemaker implanted

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Are scheduled to have a heart transplant within the next 12 months
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the course of the study
  • Are currently participating in another research study
