Summary: Heart Failure- Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of the OPTIMIZER® System with Active Fixation Leads in Subjects with Heart Failure Resulting from Systolic Dysfunction

People with heart failure are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by NYU School of Medicine involving the use of an implantable device called the Optimizer System.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are Male or female at least 18 years of age
  • Have had treatment for heart failure for at least 90 days

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have unstable angina
  • Have chronic atrial fibrillation
  • Have had a heart transplant
  • Are pregnant or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Are currently participating in another research study.
