Summary: Reducing Barriers to Pain and Fatigue Management
Phase I
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are a cancer patient experiencing pain and/or fatigue. The purpose of this study is to gather information that will help researchers design an intervention aimed at reducing barriers to the effective management of pain and fatigue. Your participation in this study is expected to last three months.
Phase II
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are a cancer patient experiencing pain and/or fatigue. The purpose of this study is to test the effects on knowledge and quality of life of an experimental teaching program for reducing barriers to the effective management of pain and fatigue. Your participation in this study is expected to last four months.
