Trial Information
Summary: Study for Men with Urinary Problems
If you are experiencing urinary problems, you may have an
enlarged prostate, or BPH. BPH may cause symptoms of:
- Urgent or frequent urination, especially at night
- Weak or slow urinary stream
- Difficulty emptying your bladder completely
If this sounds all too familiar, you may be eligible to
participate in a study of an investigational medication [treatment]
for BPH. Qualified participants receive all program-related care at
no charge, including doctor visits with boar-certified urologists,
laboratory services and study medication [treatment].
BPH can occur as a result of the aging process - the prostate
tends to get larger and obstruct urinary flow. Fifty percent of men
over 60 have an enlarged prostate. Symptoms of BPH can often be
successfully treated through medication [various therapies].
For more information about the BPH research study for yourself
or someone you care about, please contact our office. Enrollment
time is limited.
