Summary: Type 2 Diabetes
Could you be at risk for developing type 2 diabetes? There are
41 million Americans who have "pre-iabetes". Pre-diabetes
occurs in people who have higher than normal blood sugar levels but
do not yet have diabetes.
If you are between the ages of 18-80 and have any of the
following, you may qualify to participate in a clinical research
trial of a new investigational medication in your area.
- Family history of diabetes
- Cardiovascular disease
- High blood pressure
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Overweight
- A history of gestational diabetes
- Current or previous smoker
Qualified participants will receive study-related exams, lab
tests and investigational medication at no cost. [Participants will
also receive compensation for their time and travel.]
