Summary: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
A study to determine the safety, tolerability of weekly
administration of a study drug in subjects with resistant or
relapsed Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Geron Corporation is conducting a research study to determine
the safety, tolerability, and maximum tolerated dose of an
experimental study drug in subjects with relapsed or resistant
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. The study will also determine if the
study drug limits disease progression.
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have active Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia that has relapsed from
or resistant to prior treatment regimens
- Have a life expectancy of at least 3 months
You will not qualify if you:
- Do not require a change in your treatment regimen for your
disease
- Have an active second cancer or history of another cancer
within 2 years
- Are pregnant or lactating
- Have an active autoimmune disorder
- Have significant heart disease
- Have known HIV infection
- Have a psychiatric disorder or altered mental status
- Have a serious infection
- Have uncontrolled bleeding
