Summary: Insulin Pen Users Needed

Diablo Clinical Research and diabetes specialist, Dr. Richard Weinstein, are conducting a study with insulin pen users. This clinical study will evaluate the effectiveness of a 3 mm pen needle compared to a standard sized pen needle in the management of both blood sugar and pain level, and ease of use in people with diabetes.

You may qualify for the study if you:

• Have Diabetes
• Currently use either a 5, 6, or 8mm pen needle with any re-usable insulin pen or pre-filled insulin pen
• Are at least 12 years of age

Participants enrolled I the study will receive at no charge:
Study-related physician visits, study needles, lab tests, and glucose meter with supplies. Reimbursement for study-travel is also provided.
