Summary: Study of donor leukocyte infusions in patients with recurrent or persistent hematological malignancies after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation.

When a relapse occurs following allogeneic bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell transplantation for hematological malignancies, the infusion of leukocytes from the original donor appears to highly efficacious in eradicating the malignant cell population in certain patients,. The transplant unit at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (CPMC) is joining a multi-institutional trial in which the dose, timing, efficacy, and safety of this therapy are tested.

Patients must fulfill the following criteria:

• Firm diagnosis by standard clinical and laboratory criteria of relapsed CML, AML, ALL, MDS, multiple myeloma, or lymphoma.
• Physiological age 65 years or younger
• Expected survival of 4 weeks or more
• Original bone marrow or blood stem cell donor available for lymphocyte donation
• Absence of active grades II-IV acute GVHD or chronic GVHD
• Negative HIV serology
• Ability to give informed consent
• Non pregnant, non lactating
