Summary: Effexor and Seroquel Treatment for Depression
If you suffer from DEPRESSION and have already tried at least
two antidepressants that have not helped you, then you may be
eligible for a VA RESEARCH STUDY using two FDA-Approved drugs:
- Effexor ® - a medication for depression and
- Seroquel ® - a medication typically used for
schizophrenia
The purpose of this research study is: To see whether these 2
drugs in combination will help to decrease the symptoms of
depression.
Compensation will be offered for your participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Must have previously tried two prescribed antidepressants that
have not helped you.
- Must be able to make weekly and bi-weekly (every two weeks)
visits for 14 weeks.
