Summary: Back Pain

The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate the short-term multiple-dose analgesic efficacy and safety of HKT-500 in subjects with low back pain. The secondary objective of this study is to assess the onset of analgesic effect of the HKT-500 in subjects with low back pain.

  • Male/Female 18 years of age and older
  • The subject has low back pain, classified as class 1 on the Quebec Task Force system on the Spinal Disorders, of duration of at least 2 weeks but less than 2 months at dosing (baseline). The subject needs to have a history of and /or currently having low back pain improvement with NSAIDs/acetaminophen.
