Summary: Research Trial for COPD

Clinical trial comparing the effects of two medications already approved by the FDA, on the rate of exacerbations (increase of symptoms) in people with COPD. Participants must come to our office for 10 study visits over approximately one year. Study medications and study related evaluations will be provided at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.

You may be eligible to participate if:

  • You are 40 years of age or older
  • You have a diagnosis of COPD (emphysema)
  • You have a smoking history or are a current smoker
