Summary: High Blood Pressure....Not Knowing Your Risks Can Hurt You

High Blood Pressure does not cause pain or discomfort, however, it can cause significant complications including heart attack, kidney failure and stroke.

Those at risk for high blood pressure include:

  • African American and Hispanic populations
  • Men over the age of 55 or post-menopausal women
  • People with high cholesterol or diabetes
  • People who smoke or are overweight

We are conducting a research study evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational medication in combination with an approved medication to treat high blood pressure.

To qualify, participants must be at least 18 years of age and have known or suspected high blood pressure.

All study-related care and study medication will be provided at no cost.

Study Criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have known or suspected high blood pressure.
