Summary: Prostate Negative Biopsy Trial
This clinical trial will test whether the trace element selenium
will help men who have received a negative biopsy for prostate
cancer within the last year.
Participants must be less than 80 years old, have a PSA above
4ng/ml, a rising PSA or have had an abnormal digital rectal exam,
have no prior history of cancer (except skin cancer) in the past
five years, have never undergone chemotherapy or radiation
treatment, and may not be taking more than 50 mcg of selenium.
