Summary: Men & Women Needed for Stroke Genetic Study

UVa Health System seeks men & women ages 60 and up who are not taking Warfarin (Coumadin) to help study how factors that cause Warfarin-related brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage) are inherited. We hope to discover the genes that increase the risk of developing a brain bleed. Participants will undergo a medical history, and a one-time blood draw. Compensation will be $35.00.
